Cody Ross is the President & CEO of CRSC. Originally from Windsor, N.S. I have a background in Heavy Civil Construction for many years in Nova Scotia & Alberta. In July 2013, I was involved in a severe life changing workplace accident. I crushed my dominate hand and was no longer able to continue operating equipment in my field of work. This is when I became extra passionate about workplace Health & Safety and decided to go back to school to become an Occupational Health and Safety Professional.
Since completing my schooling, I have worked for several companies as a Health & Safety Advisor before branching off to become an independent Health & Safety Consultant. As a Health & Safety Consultant I believe in collaboration with like-minded individuals which is why I have been working with Kimber & Tucker as one of their coordinators. Through Kimber & Tucker I am able to focus on my strengths and rely on my colleagues to pool resources and offer our clients a level of safety standards that I am beyond proud of.
As a Health and Safety Professional I offer a solid background with unique abilities in the construction industry. I am a Certified Trainer through Construction Safety Nova Scotia and Certified operator trainer through United Academy, COR certified, hold a CSS Designation and have an Occupational Health and Safety diploma from NSCC. I offer professional communication with employees and owners at all levels and I am a practical hands-on problem solver with excellent observation, assessment and critical task thinking. I have a solid understanding of the structure of both provincial and federal regulatory boards and can access and evaluate risks and controls to effectively coordinate your Safety program. I feel one of my core strengths is my ability to conduct Safety audits and perform facility inspections to ensure your company is in compliance. I am proud of the business and relationships that I have built and look forward to growing on this foundation in the future.
